Between February 9 and 22 our professor of the archaeology section, Dr. Rafael Vega Centeno, gave a series of lectures at the prestigious École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) and at the CECUPE (Centre Culturel Péruvien), in Paris. The forum included students from the EHESS and from the archaeology graduate programs of the Universities Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris-Nanterre. Participating in this seminar was a unique opportunity to meet and interact with colleagues from the French academy who are interested and involved in the study of the Andean world. It was also an opportunity to dialogue with graduate students who are also interested in the Andes. There are many possibilities for future collaborations and contributions to Peruvian archaeology. I hope to have contributed in some way to their realization.
In addition, Dr. Vega Centeno was interviewed by the Spanish journalist Jordi Batallé for Radio France Internationale in the program "El invitado RFI".
