Philosophy Section

Presentation

The Philosophy Section was created in 1970 as part of the Department of Humanities, but as a specialty it was part of the Faculty of Letters with which the Catholic University was founded in 1917.

The Section is made up of philosophy professors who teach philosophy courses in all faculties of the university. It is made up of 18 regular professors, 16 of whom hold PhDs in Philosophy from universities in Germany, the United States, Belgium and Peru.
