The Geography section of the Humanities Department was created in 1987, simultaneously with the Geography specialty of the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences. Currently, this specialty is called Geography and Environment.
The section brings together professors specialized in the various areas of Geography to meet the demand of the university's teaching units. It also provides support to professors in their research work, to carry out their publications and in the realization of academic events.
